GEOBRUGG Rockfall barriers :
Continuously developed since 1951 and analysed in regular field tests since
1989, the RX GEOBRUGG rockfall barrier system are able to cope with
impact energies of up to 3000 kJ.
The ROCCO® steel-wire
ring nets and the planning model OPTUS® allow protection systems
of a modular structure to be designed, according to the project
and the risk of danger so maximising the cost.
The central feature of the
OPTUS® dimensioning concepts is the division
of the energy retention capacity of rockfall barrier system on different
levels. The decision of the level of energy to retain for the structure
depends on the potential for danger and safety requirements.
