Rockfall barriers:
these barriers cover 9 classes of the French standard 95-308.
As they are simple to install, they can protect against rockfall
of any several dm3 to several m3.

CAN ROCKFALL BARRIERS
CAN C1® and CAN C2®
barriers (classes 4 to 9) :
Support posts and guy lines downstream from the wire meshes,
dissipation of energy by reversible deformation of the structure
and the mesh.
CAN C1® barriers fitted with a support
post reinforced by a stay to improve the angle of incidence
of the guy lines allow the dissipation of high energies.

ELSA® Rockfall barriers (classes 1 to 3)
:
Light, unique anchoring by support working in traction, tripod
or bipod base, dissipation of energy by reversible deformation
of the barrier, pre-assembly before being transported by helicopter
or being handled by crane and speed of installation. SAM 1994
: first prize for innovation. Détails

X-cross® Rockfall barriers (classe 2
to 4) :
Support posts and guy lines downstream from the wire meshes,
unique anchoring by support, pre-assembly of the console before
being transported by helicopter or being handled by crane,
millimetric adjustment of the mesh booms, tubular metal or
class 4 treated pine console, reduced ground coverage, speed
of installation.
